ITE POSITION WITHIN MITSUBISHI ELECTRIC ITE, with M. Shigenori KINO as President, is the European research facility of Mitsubishi Electric. It belongs to the Mitsubishi Electric Corporate R&D. Within ITE, two research laboratories have been created. One is located in Guildford, U.K. (Visual Information Laboratory, VIL), the other one in Rennes, France (Telecommunication Research Laboratory, TCL).
