ITE-TCL research activity
Established in Rennes in November 1995,
ITE-TCL is lead by M. Shigenori KINO.
Up to 2008, this research centre was entirely focused to the design
of future communication paradigms for wireless broadband communications.
Recently, Mitsubishi Electric ITE diversified its scope of work by
creating a new division focusing on Energy and Environment with a
dedicated team based in Rennes focusing on photovoltaic systems.

Collaborative
activities
As a European research centre, ITE-TCL puts a lot of effort into joint
work with other actors in the framework of national or European
projects. Moreover, direct collaborations with French or European research teams
(universities, operators, manufacturers) are already established. To such projects, the laboratory brings, besides
the support and experience of a big industrial group, the dynamism
and creativity of a young and motivated team.

Company culture
"Research is a fascinating job." This statement shows the
company culture and the management practice. ITE-TCL members, mostly
french engineers, are characterised by their creativity, their power
of conviction and their ability and pleasure for teamwork.
ITE-TCL promotes the mixing of personal sensitivity, experience
and know-how. This melting of both European and Japanese cultures
should give rise to the forthcoming of new ideas and concepts leading
to products supporting enhanced human communication and
sustainable energy development. |
